Section 7
Jurisdiction of the District Court

(1) Except as otherwise provided in the prevailing law, the district court shall have the right to initiate and dispose of cases of any nature within its district and cases ordered to be heard by the High Court in accordance with sub-section (2) of Article 145 of the Constitution.
(2) The district court shall have the right to issue an order of detention in order to enforce the rights of such person if any person is illegally imprisoned within his district.
(3) The district court shall have the right to issue an order of injunction for the exercise of such right if any person or entity within its district violates or is suspected of violating the legal rights of a person.
(4) Except as otherwise provided in the prevailing law, the district court shall have the right to hear appeals within its district on the decision or final order made by the quasi-judicial body or official in accordance with the federal law and on the decision or final order made by the local judicial body constituted in accordance with the provincial law.
